Beyoncé : Named Greatest Pop Star Of 21st Century By Billboard
Congratulations are in order for music icon Beyoncé as she was crowned “The Greatest Pop-Star Of The 21st Century”, by Billboard Magazine. The editorial staff at Billboard revealed this determination as they voted on the top 25 pop artists of the century.
Although the magazine admitted Taylor Swift was running neck and neck with Queen Bey for the top spot based on record sales. The Billboard team collectively agreed Beyoncé deserved the honor “based on her full 25 years of influence, evolution, and impact.”
The magazine wrote a detailed article highlighting Beyoncé’s massive accomplishments and unforgettable moments over the past 25 years. From the beginning of her career in the iconic RnB girl group Destiny’s Child to her groundbreaking solo career. Today Beyonce currently holds the record as the most-awarded Grammy recipient of all time with 32 wins and 99 nominations.
