There’s a certain kind of artist who doesn’t just release music — they build atmosphere. Jenevieve has mastered that language, and with her latest release, “Flight Risqué,” the Los Angeles tastemaker continues to elevate her world of velvet-toned R&B, cinematic storytelling, and global sophistication.

The new single, featuring Freddie Gibbs and SALIMATA, arrives alongside a sleek official visualizer and serves as the next evolution of CRYSALIS — a richly layered reimagining of her original track “Flight Risk.” More than a remix, “Flight Risqué” feels like a late-night passport stamp: seductive, international, and effortlessly cool.

Fresh off a sold-out European run of The CRYSALIS Tour – Worldwide, Jenevieve has been moving through the cultural capitals that mirror her sound — from the romantic glow of Paris to the underground luxury of London and the after-dark pulse of Amsterdam. This May, the tour expands across Asia with highly anticipated stops in Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, and Manila — the city where she previously filmed the dreamy visual for “Haiku.” Additional tour information is available at Jenevieve Official Website.

The CRYSALIS era has become a defining moment for the singer-songwriter, placing her at the intersection of modern soul and fashion-forward artistry. The project earned acclaim from NPR, Billboard, VIBE, and The FADER, while standout single “Head Over Heels” climbed to the top of R&B radio, becoming her first No. 1 record and landing in the Top 5 of Adult R&B Airplay.

Earlier this year, Jenevieve was also recognized as an On The Verge Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she secured a nomination for Best New Artist (R&B). It’s another milestone in a career that has steadily evolved since the breakout success of “Baby Powder,” the hypnotic hit that has now surpassed 175 million global streams.

Set for release on May 1, CRYSALIS (CODA) promises to deepen the immersive universe Jenevieve has created — one rooted in intimacy, artistic freedom, and elevated collaboration. Her ability to merge analog nostalgia with contemporary polish has become her signature, making her one of the most compelling artists shaping the future of alternative R&B.

Raised in South Florida and influenced by her Cuban and African American heritage, Jenevieve’s music carries both warmth and edge. Alongside executive producer Elijah Gabor, she crafted the critically acclaimed Division and the sensual follow-up EP Rendezvous, projects that introduced audiences to her signature blend of silky vocals, emotional honesty, and understated glamour.

Some artists chase trends. Jenevieve creates moods — luxurious, soulful, and entirely her own.
