Megan Thee Stallion Sues Blogger Over Deepfake, Tory Lanez Case Lies
According to TMZ, rapper Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against a blogger for allegedly sharing misinformation about Lanez’s case and spreading a false deepfake adult video of her online. The site reports Megan’s attorney filed legal docs against the blogger ‘Milagro Gramz’ an X user with nearly 30k followers, accusing her of working on behalf of Lanez as an “online rumor mill churning out falsehoods about Meg to tens of thousands of social media followers.”
Claims Of Harassment
The suit further alleges the blogger of harassing and bullying Megan Thee Stallion by sharing a deepfake AI video of the artist falsely performing private adult acts online. Expressing the video caused Megan severe emotional distress and reputational harm. In regards to Tory Lanez case, Meg’s legal team accuses the defendant of having a “public bidding to denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about Megan online, “for no other reason than to bully, harass, and punish” Megan for Tory Lanez conviction. Alleging the defendant aimed to tarnish her reputation. Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence after being convicted of shooting the rapper in the foot back in 2020. He was subsequently convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, negligent discharge of a firearm, and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm.
TMZ states that the rapper’s legal team highlighted tweets alleged posted by the blogger during Lanez’s trial, falsely claiming Meg’s friend “admitted she lied to prosecutors about when she told them she saw Lanez pull a weapon on Meg.” She is requesting injunctive relief to stop Milagro from cyberbullying. Ultimately suing for altered “s-xual depiction, intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy, and false light.”
Defendant Speaks
Milagro has since responded by firing off tweets, confirming she’s aware of the suit. Further clarifying, she plans to “chat about it.” Also, she seemingly suggests filing a countersuit, saying, “countersuit gone go crazy.” While denying TMZ claims, the site contacted her for comment with no word back. She writes, “No, tf yall didn’t ,are yall okay? Read the tweets below! Click here to sign up for a free subscription for the latest news in urban culture on our site.
