Big Sean Reveals The New Release Date For His New Album, ‘Better Me Than You’
Big Sean has finally revealed the release date for his much-anticipated sixth studio album Better Me Than You. The album was originally slated for release earlier this month, but the Detroit rapper opted to push it back to add some finishing touches.

In an Instagram post, the “Yes” rapper revealed that the album will arrive Friday, August 30.
Sean’s last album Detroit 2, dropped four years ago, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During an Instagram Live streaming session, he got emotional as he revealed he had grand festivities planned around the album.
The moment came full circle as Sean shared that he is currently dealing with COVID. But even COVID couldn’t stop him from making the perfect project.
Elsewhere in the stream, Sean reiterated that he’s a perfectionist when it comes to his craft. But speaking with his mother encouraged him to finally drop Better Me Than You.
“She was giving me them words,” he explained. “And I was just like, look, I can keep working on some sh*t and make it exactly how I wanted. But I’d be pushing it back
forever.”
