Rap icon Kendrick Lamar broke the internet by releasing the music video for his explosive diss track aimed at Drake ‘Not Like Us’ this week. After the song-shattering streaming records and the rapper’s historic Kendrick and Friends concert uniting the entire West Coast; Kendrick topped it off by releasing the music video for the diabolical hit on the 4th of July.

Tommy The Clown & DJ Mustard!

The entrance of his video features California legend clown-krump dance founder, Tommy The Clown and his crew opening up the visual presentation. The dance crew performs classic West Coast krump-clown choreography . DJ Mustard, the producer of the contagious banger, makes an unforgettable appearance alongside Kendrick in several scenes. The duo vibe out together at Tam’s Burgers in several frames.

Kendrick Lamar’s Fiance & Kids In Video!

K.Dot’s fiance Whitney Alford and their children partake in the fun with their cameos in the visualization; stepping and dancing during Lamar’s notorious chant on the record, “He a FAN, He a FAN, Freaky A
-N- he a 6- God”. The significance of his fiance and kids being highlighted in the video, is due to Drake boldly mentioning Lamar’s family numerous times, on a slew of diss tracks targeting Kendrick Lamar.

Compton Shows Up!

The scenery becomes even more pleasing as the residents from Kendrick’s native city of Compton takes center stage. The camera pans over the large joyous crowd multiple times throughout the filming, as they harmonize the chorus to ‘Not Like Us’.

Dave Free & Kendrick Lamar Directed It!

Furthermore, the ending credits seem to poke fun at Drake, as it is revealed Dave Free directed the video. Drake made several damning allegations about Dave Free in his diss tracks aimed at the Compton-bred rapper. On his records ‘Family Matters’ and ‘The Heart Part 6’, insinuated Dave Free, Lamar’s business partner was allegedly the father to one of his kids. An accusation that was never substantiated.

OVO Pinata Victory Lap!

We almost forgot to mention Kendrick beating an OVO owl replica piñata. Overall the video was a full visual presentation of him basking in his victory over the OVO artist in the legendary hip hop battle.

Lamar’s models Kalo brand rocking a Ghetto Rodeo x Kalo Soil “God” Cap and zip up sweatshirt. He also styles in his now infamous white bad boy jacket made by Willy Chavarria. Lastly, he wearing Loewe shorts in sequins during his scenes swinging at the OVO owl replica piñata.
