Usher Muted During BET Awards Speech!

Fans were angry after audio issues occurred as Usher gave his acceptance speech during the BET Awards Sunday, June 30th. The music icon was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award commemorating his decorative 30-plus years career in the music industry. Super producers Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Babyface, and LA Reid presented Usher with the prestigious award, as fans watched eagerly anticipating his speech. Usher stepped on the stage joyously accepting the award. He graciously thanked Babyface and LA Reid for discovering him at age 14. The duo signed Usher to their former record label Laface Records in the early 90’s, catapulting him to superstardom.

The legend then removed his sunglasses, and began reflecting on his upbringing as a young boy growing up with an absent father. From there the sound completely disappeared. AS Usher continued to speak fans watching the broadcast worldwide could not hear what he stated. Subsequently, viewers expressed outrage at the fact Viacom and BET had such a tremendous technical issue. Nearly 3 minutes of Usher’s speech was completely muted during the broadcast ruining the special moment for Usher and his fans. Since then our team searched the entire web vigorously to find footage of Usher’s full speech. We’re glad to say we found it.
