DOJA CAT, MEGAN THEE STALLION, & TYLA SNUBBED BY GRAMMYS
Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Tyla fans are all expressing their frustration after none of these artists received Grammy nominations for the 2025 ceremony. The disappointment came after they had high hopes for recognition, given their standout releases and successes in 2024.
Megan Thee Stallion’s fans felt that her chart-topping single “HISS” deserved a nod, especially with its massive impact on the charts and culture. Doja Cat’s supporters were equally upset, arguing that her “Scarlet” album, along with hit singles like “Paint the Town Red” and “Agora Hills,” were more than deserving of a nomination. Tyla, who earned significant attention and success with her breakout hit last year, was also met with disappointment. Unfortunately, her self-titled debut album failed to earn a single Grammy nod this time around.
Given the buzz around their music, it’s easy to see why fans feel these artists were snubbed. If I had to pick, Megan Thee Stallion’s absence feels like the most notable snub. As considering the massive cultural and chart impact of “HISS” and her previous Grammy wins. Doja Cat’s “Scarlet” also feels like a major omission, given its critical acclaim and commercial success.
