Fatman Scoop Collapses On Stage During Show Gets CPR Rushed To Hospital

We are sending prayers up tonight as it was reported legendary hypeman Fatman Scoop collapsed on stage during his show in Hamden, Connecticut, at Hamden Town Center Park on August 30th for the Green and Gold Party. After receiving CPR, the performer was transported to the hospital, according to Hamden Mayor Lauren Garrett.

Video footage from TMZ shows medical personnel performing chest compressions on him from behind the DJ booth as fans watch! Since this report, more footage of the incident shows the performer on stage walking towards the DJ booth, yelling at the cheering crowd. “Hamden, make some noise; if you came to party, make some noise,” collapsing behind the booth. Fans attending the event captured video of Scoop earlier in his show, giving an energetic performance of his hit song ‘Drop,’ with many expressing complete shock witnessing him passing out moments later. We have screenshots of the incident above.
