Rick Ross & Crew Assaulted By Drake Fans In Canada!

Here’s What Happened!

Rapper Rick Ross and his crew were allegedly physically assaulted by a mob of Drake fans in Canada, during his set at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver on Sunday, June 30th. The video footage shows Ross at the side of the stage as ‘Not Like Us’ by Kendrick Lamar is played, when a crowd of angry Drake fans approaches him. The group has an intense verbal exchange with Rozay and his security. A man then sucker punches Rick Ross in the face causing him to spill his drink everywhere as chaos ensues. There is a brawl as the angry mob of fans attacks Rick Ross’ security and crew, as the rapper seemingly attempts to stand his ground as the mayhem continues.

Rick Ross Vs. Drake

Rick Ross and Drake have been feuding all year long. Drake allegedly referenced Rozay, in his diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar, ‘Push Ups’. After this Rick Ross would fire back on social media to air grievances with the Canadian rapper in several trolling video posts. Rozay even went as far as writing a diss track ‘Champagne Moments’ in response to Drake seemingly taking shots at him previously. Overall, this act of violence is what critics feared would eventually happen, due to Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s, highly publicized rap feud over the past few months.

Th Pop Out!

Kendrick Lamar recently had a concert entitled ‘The Pop Out’, on Juneteenth in California. Kendrick performed all of the diss tracks he wrote about Drake in front of a sold-out arena. Lamar performed ‘Not Like Us’ his most popular record aimed at the Canadian rapper over 5 times during his live show. The concert broke streaming records worldwide on Prime Video. Kendrick Lamar shot the music video for ‘Not Like Us’ as well in Compton with his community partaking in the shooting.
