Yella Beezy Charged In Killing Of Rapper Mo3:

On March 20th, rapper Yella Beezy was apprehended by authorities in connection with the death of fellow rap artist Mo3.  According to legal docs obtained by FOX-4 news, Markies Conway, stage name Yella Beezy, was indicted by a Dallas County grand jury on March 18th, accused of allegedly ordering a hitman to gun down  Melvin Noble, also known as Mo3. Noble was killed on November 11th, 2020, in the middle of the I-35 interstate in Dallas, Texas, aged 28. Police say Noble was shot multiple times in the back as he tried to escape on foot after an assailant pulled up beside his car, firing several rounds.

Investigators would later identify the alleged assassin as Kewon White. White was subsequently arrested shortly after the murder on firearm charges related to the incident. He was sentenced to nine years in prison. He is also facing a murder charge along with another suspect.

Yella Beezy Alleged Involvement:

Authorities revealed they believed Yella Beezy, 33, allegedly hired White as a hitman to kill Noble. He was indicted and arrested on a charge of capital murder while remuneration, AP News states. Yella Beezy’s bond has been set at $2 million in the Dallas County jail. Surveillance footage by WFAA shows the rapper getting escorted into the Dallas County jail’s intake section handcuffed. Since his arrest, Nichole Williams Noble, the mother of Mo3, made a post on her Facebook account, writing, “Justice for my baby!!!” The story is still developing.

Who Was Mo3:

Before his death, Melvin Noble, Mo3, was a rising rap star from North Dallas. He gained popularity with the release of his debut mixtape, Shottaz, in 2014. Two years later, he shared Shottaz Reloaded, and the project led to him being recognized by Baton Rouge rapper Boosie. In 2020, the rappers collaborated on a joint album featuring their record “Everybody” (remix) charting on the Billboard 200 charts, peaking at No. 136. Mo3 also had success upon the release of his collaborative record with Kevin Gates, “Broken Love,” which charted No. 8 on the top 10 charts in the summer of 2020.
