It is with deep sadness we announce Ms. Voletta Wallace the mother of late rapper The Notorious BIG reportedly died this morning February 21st, 2025 aged 78 according to TMZ. The outlet reports Ms. Wallace passed away Friday morning in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania according to Monroe County Coroner Thomas Yanac.
The outlet states her cause of death is suspected to be due to natural causes as she was recently placed in hospice care. Ms. Wallace Voletta continued Biggie’s legacy following his tragic death, overseeing his estate, and assisting to pass down his wealth to his two children after his slaying in March of 1997. All while never giving up hope of solving the murder of her only child rapper Christopher Notorious BIG Wallace. May she rest peacefully prayers to her entire family and friends.
