Rapper A$AP Rocky has been acquitted of charges accusing him of firing a gun at a former friend. A Los Angeles jury found the musician, whose legal name is Rakim Mayers, not guilty on two felony assault charges, which could have led to a sentence of up to 24 years in prison.
Terell Ephron, known as A$AP Relli, alleged that Mayers shot at him during an argument on a Hollywood street on November 6, 2021, grazing his knuckles with a bullet. However, Mayers denied the accusations, insisting the gun was a prop and claiming that Ephron was motivated by money. In addition to his music career, Mayers is a well-known fashion entrepreneur and the longtime partner of pop star Rihanna.
