Fat Joe Reveals New Album Coming Out This Summer

Rapper Fat Joe was stopped on the street by TMZ and asked his thoughts on the slew of hip-hop greats releasing new albums and music simultaneously in 2024. Fat Joe himself has assisted with the veteran hip-hop renaissance, as he just featured a verse on LL Cool J’s latest record, Saturday Night Special, alongside Rick Ross. Pete Rock and Common dropped their duo album, The Auditorium Vol.1, on July 12th. In addition, Nas and DJ Premier released new music together earlier in the year.

“You know we got some legends dropping some albums. We’ve got you know Nas and DJ Premier, and so is Common and Pete Rock. We’re excited for that. Who do you think is going to have the better album,” the reporter asks Fat Joe.

He replies, “Well, I think they both going to be classics.”

Fat Joe then reveals he has his own project in the works set to release next month. He continues, “And breaking news, Fat Joe will be dropping an album in August too! So put me on that list of pioneers, legends, and icons.“

The journalist then responds asking him, “I know, so who do you think – I mean, out of the two albums, who do you think is going to have the better classic?”

Fat Joe answers, “I heard some of Pete Rock’s, Common’s joints – they’re really hot. Come on, you’re talking about Nas and Premier; you know these are the best of the best I know.”
