In the teaser Budden and Owens debate on a slew of topics including her views on Feminism, “The Fat Acceptance Movement”, and LGBTQ rights. She also speaks about her distaste for music artists Lizzo, Arianna Grande, Sexxy Red and Ice Spice. In the 1 minute clip, Joe Budden directly asked Candace Owens if she’s proud to be Black, as many viewers in the Black community think she isn’t supportive of the community as a whole.

Joe Budden has received a series of mixed reviews in his decision to open up his platform to Candace Owens. Particularly triggering his core fan base which is primarily Black Americans. Many listeners expressed their disappointment for Budden giving Owens his platform to speak. While others responded with full admiration agreeing with her views.
