Rap icon Nicki Minaj is trending on social media following her unexpected Grammy nomination snub on Tuesday. This news comes several weeks after the rapper blasted the Grammys for alleged discrimination and bias treatment.
Minaj claimed the Grammys purposely placed her song ‘Freaky Girl’ in the pop category for Grammy consideration instead of rap to lower her chances of receiving a nomination and subsequently winning an award.
Unfortunately, for Nicki Minaj Tuesday it was announced by the Recording Academy, the chart topping rapper was not nominated for any Grammys this year for the 2023 award ceremony.

Nicki has not commented publicly regarding the situation just yet as she continues to trend on Twitter. However, Nicki should not feel bother as she is not the only hip hop artist or black artist in general to be snubbed by the Grammys this week.
