High-end fashion brand Balenciaga has reportedly decided to end their business relationship with Ye. This is following his slew of anti-Semitic rhetoric; spewing hatred towards the Jewish community in several of his media interviews recently.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, Kering, the French fashions parent company said Balenciaga has decide to terminate their business relationship with Ye as of Thursday.
“Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist,” Kering said in a response to a query from WWD.
Although they’ve ended their business relationship with Ye, they did not directly specify the reasoning behind it. However, Balenciaga has immediately began deleting all sites of Ye from the companies website. Photos from Ye’ Balenciaga 2023 summer fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, with the rapper wearing battle gear and a Balenciaga branded mouth guard has vanished from the fashion brands website.
Ye just seems to keep taking losses this week, as he is also being sued for $250 million from the family of George Floyd, due to his alleged false statements regarding his death on ‘Drink Champs.’
