According to news reports hip hop artist Trina, 17 year old niece known by the name ‘Suga’, was allegedly shot and killed at an apartment complex in Miami, Florida. The shooting occurred around midnight on Wednesday morning.
Miami 7 news claims there were two other shooting victims rushed to the hospital, but are expected to survive. Reports claim police arrived after gun shots were fired in the area of Northwest 13th Avenue near 62nd Street in Liberty City, around 12:30 a.m., Wednesday.
Miami Fire Rescue pronounced Suga dead on the scene. There’s now an ongoing investigation as police officers search for clues and evidence into the homicide. Investigators has placed now focus on a black Mercedes SUV about a mile north of the crime scene as key evidence.
