A judge has announced the trial for the alleged killer of Nipsey Hussle will begin June 2nd. Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and murdered outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019.

According to the The Rolling Stone, Hussle’s alleged killer Eric Holder, 32, made his appearance in a L.A. courtroom Thursday as his representative announced he’s ready to move forward with his trial after a long-delay. Jury selection is set to begin for the trial June 2nd; with Judge H. Clay Jacke presiding over the case.
“We have been looking forward to the day that we could present evidence in court on this case. But for the Covid emergency, this case would have been tried quite some time ago,” Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney John McKinney tells Rolling Stone.
Also according to prosecutors claims Hussle was allegedly shot 10 times then kicked in the head by Eric Holder. The murder was reportedly recorded on surveillance footage. Nipsey Hussle was only 33 years old at the time of his death. If convicted Holder faces life behind bars.
